-20°CRho GTPases play a fundamental role in numerous cellular processes that are initiated by extracellular stimuli that work through G protein coupled receptors. ARHGEF7 belongs to a family of cytoplasmic proteins that activate the Ras-like family of Rho proteins by exchanging bound GDP for GTP. It may form a complex with G proteins and stimulate Rho-dependent signals. This protein can induce membrane ruffling. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene, but some of their full-length sequences have not been determined. The deduced protein contains 646 amino acids. Northern blot analysis detected highest expression in skeletal muscle and lower expression in all other tissues and cell lines examined.||Applications: |Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilution:|ELISA: 1:100-1:5000 |Western Blot: 1:50-400|Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:50-500 |Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:10-100|Immunocytochemistry:: 1:50-500 |Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
