CD205 (also known as DEC205) and originally described as BoWC6. CD205 is a cell surface antigen with an approximate molecular weight of 210-220kD.|CD205 is expressed on afferent lymph dendritic cells (veiled cells), B cells, a subset of T cells and by cortical and medullary thymocytes.||Applications: |Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilutions:|Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Hybridoma: |X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. ||Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.||Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
