-20°CNanog is a homeodomain containing transcription factor that is essential for the maintenance of pluripotency and self renewal in embryonic stem cells (1). Nanog expression is controlled by a network of factors including Sox2 and the key pluripotency regulator Oct-4 (1). Recent advances in somatic cell reprogramming have utilized viral expression of combinations of transcription factors including nanog, Oct-4, Sox2, KLF4, c-Myc and Lin28 (2,3). ||Applications:|Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilution:|Western Blot: 1:1000, incubate membrane with diluted antibody in TBS, 5% BSA, 0.1% Tween-20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight. |Immunofluorescence (IF-IC): 1:2000|Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:12,800|Flow Cytometry: 1:1600|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
