-20°CCD1a is a ~49kDa single pass type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein containing a single Ig-like domain, expressed in association with beta 2 microglobulin. CD1a is expressed strongly by cortical thymocytes, and also by Langerhans cells and interdigitating cells. CD1a is involved in the presentation of lipids and glycolipids to NK cells.||Applications:|Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. ||Recommended Dilution:|Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul|Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. ||Hybridoma: |NS1/Ag4.1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.||Positive Control for Immunohistochemistry:|Skin||Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. ||Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
