CD31 (Biotin)

Ovine CD31 is predominantly expressed by peripheral blood platelets and a small percentage of lymphocytes. CD31 is also highly expressed by ovine endothelial cells.|Reported to inhibit homotypic leukocyte aggregation induced by anti CD43 antibodies (2). Removal of sodium azide is recommended prior to use in fuctional assays.||Applications:|Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. ||Recommended Dilutions: |Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. ||Hybridoma: |Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the SP2-0/Ag14 mouse myeloma cell line.||Recommended Negative Control:|I1904-83P1: IgG2a Murine Negative Control||Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. ||Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
