L'anticorps NFκB p65 (F-6) est un anticorps monoclonal de souris IgG1 κ (également désignée sous le nom d'anticorps RelA, d'anticorps p65 ou d'anticorps NFKB3) qui détecte la protéine NFκB p65 d'origine souris, rat et humaine par WB, IP, IF, IHC(P), FCM et ELISA. L'anticorps NFκB p65 (F-6) est disponible sous forme d'anticorps anti-NFκB p65 non conjugué, ainsi que sous plusieurs formes conjuguées d'anticorps anti-NFκB p65, comprenant agarose, HRP, PE, FITC et plusieurs conjugués Alexa Fluor®.Les protéines codées par l'oncogène viral v-Rel et son homologue cellulaire, c-Rel, font partie d'une famille de facteurs de transcription qui incluent les deux sous-unités du facteur de transcription NκB (p50 et p65) et le morphogène maternel de la drosophile, dorsal. Les deux protéines se lient spécifiquement à des séquences d'ADN qui sont identiques ou de légères variations de la séquence κB de 10 pb dans l'amplificateur de la chaîne légère de l'immunoglobuline κ. Cette même séquence est également présente dans un certain nombre d'autres amplificateurs cellulaires et viraux. L'activité de liaison à l'ADN de NFκB est activée et NFκB est ensuite transporté du cytoplasme vers le noyau dans les cellules exposées à des mitogènes ou à des facteurs de croissance. Des ADNc codant pour des précurseurs de deux protéines distinctes de même taille ont été décrits, désignés p105 et p100. Le précurseur p105 contient p50 à son extrémité N-terminale et une région C-terminale qui, lorsqu'elle est exprimée sous forme de molécule séparée, désignée pdI, se lie à p50 et régule son activité.
