Raf-B Antibody (F-7) is an IgG2a κ mouse monoclonal Raf-B antibody (also designated BRAF antibody or RAFB antibody) that detects the Raf-B protein of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA. Raf-B Antibody (F-7) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-Raf-B antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-Raf-B antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Several serine/threonine protein kinases have been implicated as intermediates in signal transduction pathways. These include ERK/MAP kinases, ribosomal S6 kinase (Rsk) and Raf-1. Raf-1 is a cytoplasmic protein with intrinsic serine/threonine activity. It is broadly expressed in nearly all cell lines tested to date and is the cellular homolog of v-Raf, the product of the transforming gene of the 3611 strain of murine sarcoma virus. The unregulated kinase activity of the v-Raf protein has been associated with transformation and mitogenesis, while the activity of Raf-1 is normally suppressed by a regulatory N-terminal domain. Raf-A, a second member of the Raf gene family of serine/threonine protein kinases, exhibits substantial homology to Raf-1 within the kinase domain of the two molecules, but less homology elsewhere. Expression of Raf-B is highly restricted, with highest levels in the cerebrum and testis.

Monoclonal antibodies for mammalian and non-mammalian protein targets represent essentially all targets covered by polyclonal antibodies. Over 8,300 of our antibodies are offered as ImmunoCruz® conjugates which eliminates the need for a secondary antibody.
Santa Cruz Biotechnology antibodies have over 360,000 research citations. Anti-BRAF Antibody (F-7) has 283 citations in a variety of scientific publications.
Primary antibodies like Anti-BRAF Antibody (F-7) for mammalian target proteins are recommended for the detection of a range of mammalian species, primarily of mouse, rat and human species. Many mammalian antibodies are also ideal for veterinary research and reactive with ovine, porcine, caprine, feline, canine, bovine and equine protein targets. Santa Cruz Biotechnology primary monoclonal antibodies are suitable for laboratory research applications and are not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.

Why do I get double bands when using Raf-B Antibody (F-7)?
Our anti-BRAF sc 5284 were frozen at -20 degrees celsius instead of +4degrees celsius, during 12hours (by mistake), remain functionnal?
What is the best Raf-B + control lysate for rat samples?
