Shield-1 is a specific, cell-permeant and high-affinity ligand of FK506-binding protein-12 (FKBP), and reverses the instability by binding to mutated FKBP (mtFKBP), allowing conditional expression of mtFKBP-fused proteins. Shield-1 can stabilize the entire fusion protein.||Synonyms:|1-[(2S)-1-oxo-2-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)butyl]-,(1R)-3-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-1-[3-[2-(4-morpholinyl)ethoxy]phenyl]propyl ester, (2S)-2-Piperidinecarboxylic Acid||Molecular Formula:|C42H56N2O10||Molecular Weight:|748.9||Appearance:|White to off-white solid||Purity:|≥99%||Solubility:|Chloroform (Slightly), Methanol (Slightly)||Method for Determining Ientity:|Proton NMR Spectroscopic and Mass Spectrometric analysis||TLC Conditions:|SiO2; Dichloromethane:Methanol=9:1; Visualized with UV and KMnO4; Single Spot, Rf=0.75||Elemental Analysis:|Calculated: %C: 67.36, %H: 7.54, %N: 3.74||Specific Rotation (c=0.2, Methanol):|As Reported||Storage and Stability:|Store at 4°C.
