CD86 has been identified, along with CD80 (B7-1), as a ligand for CD28 and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen-4 (CTLA4). CD28 and CTLA4 are two receptors that have opposing functions in T-cell stimulation. Interaction of CD86 with CD28 promotes a number of T-cell activities, whereas the binding of CD86 to CTLA4 inhibits T-cell responses.||Applications:|Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilution:|Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:10; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at least 12 months at 4°C. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
