-20°CThis is a broad-spectrum antibody which has been reported to differentiate epithelial tumors from non-epithelial tumors. Many studies have shown the usefulness of keratins as markers in cancer research and tumor diagnosis.||Applications: |Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilution:|Western Blot: 0.5-1.0ug/ml |Immunohistochemistry: Frozen & formalin-fixed: 0.5-1.0ug/ml for 30 min at RT|(Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Positive Control:|A431 cells, Skin, Colon carcinoma||Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. |For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.||Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
