Particularly suitable for the precipitation of nucleic acids. Compared to ethanol, 50 % less is needed for precipitation. This is molecular biology grade isopropanol with a purity of over 99.7 %, the water content is a maximum of 0.1 %.
DNase and RNase activities are not detectable.
