Product Description
Lactose Assay Kit is for quantitative determination of lactose. The Kit uses specific enzyme-coupled reactions in which lactose is cleaved and the resulting galactose forms a colored product. The color intensity at 570 nm or fluorescence intensity at 530 nm/585 nm is directly proportional to the lactose concentration in the sample.
Suitable Sample
Food and Beverages Products, Milk and other Biological Samples.
Sample Volume
20 uL
Detection Method
Colorimetric, Fluorometric
Assay Type
Quantitative
Calibration Range
Colorimetric Assay: 17 to 2000 uM, Fluorimetric Assay: 6 to 100 uM
Regulation Status
For research use only (RUO)
Quality Control Testing
Standard Curve
The standard curve is for the purpose of illustration only and should not be used to calculate unknowns. A standard curve should be generated each time the assay is performed.
Storage Instruction
Store the kit at -20°C.
