L'anticorps Tom20 (F-10) est un anticorps monoclonal IgG2a λ de souris Tom20 (également appelé anticorps TOMM20) qui détecte la protéine Tom20 de souris, de rat et d'origine humaine par WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) et ELISA. L'anticorps Tom20 (F-10) est disponible sous forme d'anticorps anti-Tom20 non conjugué, ainsi que sous plusieurs formes conjuguées d'anticorps anti-Tom20, y compris agarose, HRP, PE, FITC et plusieurs Alexa Fluor® conjugués. Tom20 est un membre du complexe multisubunitaire Tom (translocases préprotéiques mitochondriales de la membrane externe). Tom facilite l'importation des protéines précurseurs encodées dans le noyau à travers la membrane externe de la mitochondrie. La machinerie Tom se compose de récepteurs d'importation pour la liaison initiale des préprotéines synthétisées dans le cytosol et d'un pore d'importation général (GIP) pour la translocation membranaire de diverses préprotéines dans la mitochondrie. Les récepteurs d'importation comprennent Tom20 et Tom22, qui forment un complexe récepteur hétéromérique qui initie l'insertion des protéines nouvellement synthétisées dans la membrane externe et dirige ensuite la protéine précurseur dans le GIP. L'anticorps Tom20 (F-10) est spécifique de la protéine Tom20 de mammifère. Chez la levure, Tom22 est le composant essentiel du complexe récepteur d'importation, car il sert à la fois de récepteur pour les préprotéines et de point d'ancrage pour Tom20 et le GIP. Tom22 s'associe directement avec Tom40, le composant principal du GIP, et forme ainsi une interaction stable entre les deux complexes centraux pour faciliter le mouvement fluide des préprotéines dans les mitochondries. Hello! Can I use this antibody for Flow Cytometry? If so, with what dilution?
Thank you for your question. Fluorescent conjugates of Tom20 Antibody (F-10): sc-17764 can be used for flow cytometry. We recommend using 1 µg of fluorochrome-conjugated antibody per 1 million cells in a volume of 100 µl per tube.

Do you have an antibody like sc-11415 against TOMM20 & produced in rabbit?
Thank you for your question. We currently do not have such an antibody produced in rabbit. Please refer to our monoclonal alternative Anti-Tom20 Antibody (F-10): sc-17764 instead. This antibody is available in different conjugation variants, which opens up options for co-staining and significantly reduces the risk of unspecific staining.

this antibody should replace the old polyclonal "sc-11415" antibody. However, this one is mouse, and i am looking for an antibody coming from rabbit. Is it possible to still order the old antibody?

What is the minimum amount of protein required for signal? I am currently loading 5 ug of protein as this is ideal for the other Abs I am working with. I have tried to dilute the TOM20 F-10 antibody at 1:500 and 1:100 without a hint of a band.
