Wound healing and migration tests are performed by seeding cells in the Culture-Insert well. After cell fixation, a cell-free space is created in which cell migration can be visualised.

 

Culture-Inserts can also be used to seed two different cell types. After removal of the insert, the cell fronts can be analysed to determine their invasive behaviour.
