Erlenmeyer CommaClean® flasks are ideal for growing and storing suspended cells such as bacteria, fungi, animal and plant cells. The disposable flask is an economical alternative to traditional flasks, plates and dishes.Their design promotes an environment conducive to cell growth, ensuring optimum performance in a variety of biological and cellular research applications.

• The quantity of medium must be carefully controlled. The recommended working volume for CommaClean® Erlenmeyer flasks of 3 litres or less is 30-40% of the volume, and 50-70% above 3 litres.

• The speed of agitation required for CommaClean® Erlenmeyer flasks is determined by the working volume, the amplitude of agitation (orbital diameter), the cell line, the type of medium, the presence or absence of a baffled bottom and many other factors.

• The recommended stirring speed for CommaClean® Erlenmeyer flasks is generally 75 rpm to 125 rpm. Pay attention to the water level for the liquid shaker and the temperature for the gas shaker.
