Rat Primary cells - Ocular system
The ocular cell system is comprised of the eye and its visual system (cornea, lens, and fluids). The function of the ocular system is to transduce light into visual signals. Epithelial cells, keratocytes, fibroblasts, and trabecular meshwork cells are critical components required for the normal function of the ocular cell system. Atypical cell proliferation and regulation within the ocular cell system contributes to the development of disorders such as corneal inflammation, proliferative retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinoblastoma. We offer different types of normal rat primary cells in ocular cell system including: corneal epithelial cells, keratocytes, retinal pigment epithelial cells, lens epithelial cells, iris pigment epithelial cells, conjunctival fibroblasts, non-pigmented ciliary epithelial cells, trabecular meshwork cells, ocular choroid fibroblasts, and conjunctival epithelial cells.
