It is an ultra-processive reverse transcriptase that creates cDNAs from any type of RNA in a single pass, including long and highly structured templates.

Operates optimally at ambient temperatures (20-42ºC), eliminating the need for heating the RT reaction, which helps preserve the integrity of RNA samples.

Suitable for gene expression, RT-PCR, qRT-PCR, and other first strand cDNA synthesis applications.

Supports RNA input as low as 0.1 pg.

uMRT Template Switching Kit

Features consistent and efficient terminal transferase activity, enabling use in applications where template switching is preferred.

Capable of creating cDNA from any RNA: long or short, highly structured, or difficult transcripts of any abundance.

When used with the Template Switching Oligo (TSO), it allows for the creation of full-length cDNAs while adding appropriate sequencing adapters.

Reduces cDNA library bias in sequencing.
