Neurodegenerative diseases
Neurodegenerative diseases are conditions that affect the nerve cells of the brain and central nervous system, resulting in progressive and irreversible deterioration of brain function. These diseases include Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Huntington's disease and many others.
These disorders vary depending on the type of disease, but can include memorry poblems, motor problems, personality changes, language and communication problems, and behavioral problems.
