20th North of England Cell Biology (NECB) Forum

It's our pleasure to announce that Clinisciences is participating in the "20th North of England Cell Biology (NECB) Forum" that's going to be held in the National STEM Learning Centre, York, on September 20th 2024.

The National STEM Learning Centre, in York city, is the Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) Centre that offers excellent facilities to students and staff including engineering and electrical workshops, laboratory facilities and learning zones containing computer equipment and reference materials.

The North of England Cell Biology (NECB) forum is a FREE one day conference for postgraduate and early-career researchers to present their work, network with colleagues across the region, and discuss their research. This conference aims to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and advance research within the cell biology community in Northern England. Typically, such forums focus on several key objectives such as :

  • Providing a platform for researchers, scientists, and students to share their latest research findings, developments, and techniques in cell biology.
  • Facilitating connections and collaborations between individuals and institutions involved in cell biology research, enhancing opportunities for partnerships and joint projects.
  • Providing support and guidance for early-career researchers and students through mentorship, networking opportunities, and exposure to experienced professionals in the field.

Also, there will be short talks and flash talks from attendees as well as many posters on display.

The NECB will be a fantastic opportunity to find out about the latest developments in cell biology research in the North of England.
