EOMES (Eomesodermin Homolog, T-box Brain Protein 2, TBR2, T-brain-2, TBR-2)

Tbr2 (a T-domain transcription factor) is a member of a conserved protein family that shares a common DNA-binding domain, the T-box. T-box genes encode transcription factors involved in the regulation of developmental processes. Trb2 has been shown to play a role in the development of the neocortex and functions in the differentiation pathway of radial glia to postmitotic projection neurons.||Applications: |Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.|Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilutions:|Western Blot: 0.05ug/ml detected Tbr2 in 10ug of E13-14 mouse brain lysates.|Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:1000 detected Tbr2 in mouse and human brain. Requires HIER with citrate buffer pH 6.0|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Positive Control:|E13-14 mouse brain lysate||Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. ||Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
