-20°CDNA PK is the key component of the non-homologous end-joining (NHEJ) pathway of DSB repair in mammalian cells. DNA PK consists of a heterodimeric DNA-binding subunit (Ku70/80) and an approximately 465kD catalytic subunit (DNA PKcs). DNA PKcs is a serine/threonine protein kinase whose activity is greatly stimulated by its recruitment to DNA breaks by the Ku heterodimer.||Applications:|Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilution:|Western Blot: 1:500-1:1,000|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
