Purified Anti-RAT IgM was Biotin Conjugated. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-biotin, anti-Rabbit Serum, Rat IgM and Rat Serum. No reaction was observed against other rat heavy or light chain proteins.

    Application notesAnti-RAT IgM (mu chain) Antibody has been assayed against Rat IgM in a standard capture ELISA using Peroxidase Conjugated Streptavidin. A working dilution of 1:15,000 to 1:70,000 of the concentration is suggested for this product. Rat IgM antibody is suitable for immunoassays including western blot and ELISA.

Lane 3: Rat IgG Fab Fragment (p/n orb346340). Lane 4: Rat IgM Whole Molecule (p/n orb346341). Lane 5: Rat Serum. All samples were reduced. Load: 50 ng per lane. Block: orb348637 for 30 min at RT. Primary Antibody: Anti-Rat IgM (mu chain) (RABBIT) Antibody (p/n orb347851) 1:2000 for 60 min at RT. Secondary Antibody: Anti-Rabbit IgG (GOAT) Peroxidase Conjugated Antibody (p/n orb347654) 1:40000 in orb348637 for 30 min at RT. Predicted/Observed Size: 25 and 55 kDa for Rat IgG and Serum, 25 kDa for F(c) and Fab, 78 and 25 kDa for IgM. Rat F(c) migrates slightly higher.
