Bovine WC1 is a 215/300kD antigen expressed on the majority of gamma/delta T lymphocytes. These cells also express low levels of CD5, but are negative for other B and T cell markers.||The WC1 antigen is reported to be involved in a number of processes, including activation of gamma/delta T cells and the development of a Th1-biased acquired immune response.||Applications:|Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilutions:|Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): requires protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections. e.g. trypsin or pronase.|Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Hybridoma: |NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.| |Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. |For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. ||Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
