Datasheet

  • Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using Phospho- (Ser/Thr) ATM/ATR Substrate polyclonal antibody at 1:1000 dilution. Jurkat and NIH/3T3 cells were treated by Calyculin A (100 nM) at 37 °C for 30 minutes after serum-starvation overnight. C6 cells were treated by ATP (5 mM) at 30 °C for 1 hour. Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) at 1:10000 dilution. Lysates/proteins: 25ug per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 60s.

Description

Background This gene encodes a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. This protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum and is thought to be the predominant enzyme responsible for epoxidation of endogenous arachidonic acid in cardiac tissue. Multiple transcript variants have been found for this gene.
