Creatine kinase is usually found in the cytoplasm and mitochondria of animal heart, muscle (skeletal and cardiac) as well as in brain and other tissues. There is a direct relationship between CK and energy homeostasis of cells, muscle contraction, ATP regeneration, which has great scientific research value for acute myocardial infarction.||Sample Type:|Animal tissue, serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and other samples.||Intended Use:|This kit can measure CK activity of all kinds of animal tissue, serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and other samples.||Test Principle:|Creatine kinase can catalyze adenosine triphosphate and creatine to form phosphocreatine. The generated phosphocreatine soon hydrolyzes into phosphoric acid entirely while adenosine triphosphate and adenosine diphosphate are still stable. Add ammonium molybdate can form phosphomolybdic acid which can be further reduced into molybdenum blue. The activity of enzyme can be calculated according to the concentration of inorganic phosphorus.||Kit Components (see Protocol for final kit quantities):|Reagent 1,|Liquid, 6 mLx1 vial||Reagent 2,|Liquid, 1.5 mLx1 vial||Reagent 3,|Powder, 2xvial||Reagent 4,|Powder, 1xvial||Reagent 5,|Powder, 2xvial||Reagent 6,|Liquid, 6 mLx1 vial||Reagent 7,|Powder, 1xvial||Reagent 8,|Powder 2xvial||Storage and Stability:|Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C.
