-20°CHeat shock proteins, HSP’s or stress response proteins SRP’s, are synthesized in a variety of environmental and patholphysiological stressful conditions. Many HSP’s are involved in processes such as protein denaturation-renaturation, folding-unfolding, transport-translocation, activation-inactivation, and secretion. HSP70 is found to be associated with steroid receptors, actin, p53, polyoma T antigen, nucleotides, and other unknown proteins. Also, HSP70 has been shown to be involved in protective roles against thermal stress, cytotoxic drugs, and other damaging conditions. ||Applications: |Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry (Not Tested), Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.||Recommended Dilution:|Immunoprecipitation (Native & denatured): 2ug antibody/mg protein lysate using Protein A.|Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml for 2hrs at RT.|Immunohistochemistry (Frozen & formalin/paraffin): 2-4ug/ml. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min., followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Positive Control: BT474 or HeLa cells, breast carcinoma.||Cellular Localization: Nuclear and cyotplasmic||Molecular Weight of Antigen:|Inducible: 72kD|Constitutive: 73Kd||Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.||Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
