2024-08-28/09-01 - UK - Heslington - Small Meeting on Yeast Transport and Energetics (SMYTE) 2024

We are pleased to announce that CliniSciences is proud to participate in The " Small Meeting on Yeast Transport and Energetic ", that will be held at the University of York, Heslington, UK from 28th August to 1st September 2024.

The University of York was established in 1963 and has quickly grown to become one of the UK's leading universities. It's known for its research strengths in various areas, including biomedical sciences, environmental sciences, chemistry, economics, and archaeology. It actively promotes interdisciplinary research collaborations and engages in partnerships with industry, government, and other institutions globally.

The Small Meeting on Yeast Transport and Energetics (SMYTE) will be  at the University of York, United Kingdom. This will be held 28th August - 1st September 2024.

There will be a series of exciting talks, including keynote speakers, to showcase new and unpublished research in the field. The event will be interspersed with posters and socialising opportunities, to maximise networking and to enjoy the historic city of York.

There will be talks spanning structure, function and regulation of transport across different fungal membranes, including various pathogenic and non-pathogenic species. An array of cellular processes regulated by transport and bioenergetic mechanisms will be discussed, for example, homeostatic control, physiology under normal and stress conditions, and contributors to drug resistance. All career stages will be represented across the scientific programme, so early career researchers, postdocs and students are encouraged to submit abstracts for consideration.

Accommodation, seminars, poster sessions, and meals will mainly be held on site at the University of York main campus, but a social programme that encompasses more of the city will also be included.

We very much look forward to welcoming you in this gathering.
