IgG4-S228P Isotype Control, In Vivo Grade Recombinant Human

Isotype control antibodies are used as negative controls of primary antibodies to check presence of non-specific binding to FC receptors on the cell surface, other cellular proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids. Thus, the isotype control antibody normally matches the host species and isotype, including light chains (such as human IgG4 S228P kappa antibody), concentration, and conjugation format of the experimental primary antibody. The ideal human isotype control antibody has low or no specific binding to any human sample, and humanized or completely human variable regions in addition to the human IgG constant regions.||Applications: |Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and in vivo animal model research. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilution:|Immunohistochemistry: frozen/paraffin|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
