Total RNAs are provided ready-to-use for Northern blotting, cDNA synthesis, RNA protection, and RNA differential display. |Total RNA isolation is performed using proprietary techniques. Contamination by RNase, genomic DNA polysaccharides, and proteoglycans has been effectively eliminated. The integrity of the total RNAs is assured by checking for a ratio of greater than 1/1 between 28S and 18S ribosomal RNA. The integrity of the RNA is examined by visual inspectiuon for the presence of intact bands of 18s and 28s RNA when electrophoreses on a denaturing agarose gel. The quality and purity of total RNA were tested by spectrophotomer. (A260/280 = 1.8-2.0 detected in 10mM Tris-Cl, pH 7.5).|2. The RNA is treated by DNAse I. It is tested as DNA free RNA by PCR.|3. cDNA synthesis is successfully performed by using this RNA as template.||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -70°C in RNA storage solution. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
