They are heterogenous in morphology, cytochemistry, function and surface antigens. Immunohistochemical labeling with monoclonal antibodies is one of the most specific and reliable techniques for the identification and localization of these cells. Monoclonal antibodies to macrophage and histiocyte surface or cytoplasmic antigens are important for the immunodiagnosis of both benign and malignant histiocytic lesions. They are useful in the investigation of macrophage differentiation and maturation and in the diagnosis of various inflammatory, reactive and neoplastic disorders of macrophages.||Applications:|Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry (Not Tested), Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. ||Recommended Dilutions:|Flow Cytometry (Not Tested): 1:50-1:100; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul. Membrane permeabilization is required.|Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections|Western Blot: Non-reducing conditions.|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. ||Hybridoma: |Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.||Recommended Negative Control:|I1904-84Q3: IgG2b Murine Negative Control||Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
