SK-N-DZ cells
Cat# C0005020
Size : OneFrozenvial
Disease:
Neuroblastoma.
Origin:
SK-N-DZ is a neuroblastoma cell line derived in 1978 from a bone marrow metastasis from a child with poorly differentiated embryonal neuroblastoma.
Species:
Homo sapiens, human Brain; derived from metastatic site: bone marrow. Epithelial Adherent Modal number = 44, XX; most cells were monosomic for chromosomes 10, 11, 13, 14 and 19; all cells were missing both copies of chromosome 2; five marker chromosomes of unknown origin were observed in each cell. One of the marker chromosomes contains a homogeneously staining region (HSR); no double minutes were seen. Caucasian, female, 2 years of age. AddexBio-formulated DMEM (C0003-01) + Non-essential amino acids (NEAA; 0.1 mM) + 10% FBS Subculture sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) at 1:4 ratio, using 0.25% (w/v) Trypsin- 0.53 mM EDTA solution.
