Lyophilized Standard Mix - Rat Group 2 Panel B, 7-Plex. PN: RG20007. One vial containing lyophilized recombinant rat LIX, MCP-1, MCP-3, RANTES, SDF-1, ICAM-1, and VCAM-1.  Note: If multiple analyte kits on the above target list are ordered as a panel, only one vial of standard mix is supplied for those analyte kits.

Application: Optimal antibody pair and antigen standard for assaying Rat CCL7/MARC/MCP-3. Can be multiplexed with other analytes in Rat Group 2. To be used in conjunction with the AimPlex Mouse/Rat Basic Kit (PN: P200201) and a diluent kit. Refer to the AimPlex Multiplex Immunoassay User Manual and kit inserts for the assay procedure.

Description:

CCL7, previously named MCP-3 (Accession Q9QXY8) is a member of the MCP subgroup of CC chemokines. It is produced by tumor cell lines and macrophages. CCL7 attracts neutrophils and monocytes. CCL7 participates in anti-inflammatory responses and can promote tumor progression, though there is research to suggest that it may hinder tumor proliferation under certain circumstances. Beyond cancer in adipose tissue, diseases correlated to the detection of CCL7 include demyelinating disease and nephrogenic systemic fibrosis.
