Antibody Arrays C-Series Products
Introduction
The technology of membrane antibody array is based on the sandwich immunoassay principle. A panel of capture antibodies is immobilized at specific spot locations on the surface of the membrane. Incubation of array membrane with biological samples results in the capturing of proteins by corresponding antibodies. the bound of proteins are detected with a cocktail of biotinylated antibodies. Signals are then visualized using chemiluminescence, colorimetry or infrared fluorescence.
Many biological processes such as apoptosis, inflammation, angiogenesis, immunoresponse and cell migration often accompany changes in cytokine expression levels. cytokine profiles are also altered in disease states such as cancer, arthritis, atherosclerosis, obesity and infectious diseases. Thus, C-series Cytokine Antibody arrays have broad applications in basic biomedical research, drug discovery and biomarker discovery.
