A highly purified grade liquid form of albumin suitable for ELISA systems, as an enzyme or protein stabilization agent, as a blocking agent to prevent non-specific protein binding, Rh-typing sera diluents and crossmatching procedures where low IgG and protease background levels are required. During processing of the product, a batch is heated at 85°C for at least 6 hours. The pH of digestion was carried out at 5.5 or lower.
