Bovine serum proteins
Bovine serum is an IgG fraction antibody purified from polyspecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Rabbit Serum and anti-Peroxidase. Multiple precipitin arcs were observed against Bovine Serum.

Anti-Bovine Serum peroxidase conjugate has been tested by dot blot and is suitable to be assayed against 1.0 ug of Bovine IgG in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS (2,2’-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) code # ABTS-100 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:20,000 to 1:100,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product.

Background
Anti-Bovine serum antibody detects bovine serum proteins. Serum proteins are those proteins remaining in portion of plasma after coagulation of blood, during which process the plasma protein fibrinogen is converted to fibrin and remains behind in the clot. Anti-Bovine serum antibody is ideal for investigators involved in Cell Signaling, Cellular Biology and Signal Transduction research.
