L'anticorps CD63 (MX-49.129.5) est un anticorps monoclonal de souris IgG1 κ qui détecte la protéine CD63 de souris, de rat et d'origine humaine par WB, IP, IF, IHC(P), FCM et ELISA. L'anticorps CD63 (MX-49.129.5) est disponible sous forme d'anticorps anti-CD63 non conjugué, ainsi que sous plusieurs formes conjuguées d'anticorps anti-CD63, y compris agarose, HRP, PE, FITC et plusieurs Alexa Fluor® conjugués. Les tétraspanines sont des protéines membranaires intégrales exprimées à la surface des cellules et des membranes granulaires des cellules hématopoïétiques et sont des composants de complexes multimoléculaires avec des intégrines spécifiques. La tétraspanine CD63 (également connue sous le nom de LAMP-3, antigène associé au mélanome ME491, TSPAN30, MLA1 et OMA81H) est une glycoprotéine de la membrane lysosomale qui se transloque vers la membrane plasmique après l'activation des plaquettes. CD63 est exprimé sur les plaquettes activées, les monocytes et les macrophages, et est faiblement exprimé sur les granulocytes, les cellules T et les cellules B. Il est localisé sur les membranes des granules basophiles et sur les membranes plasmiques des lymphocytes et des granulocytes. A number of reviewers mentioned good western detection of CD63 from non-reducing exosomes. Does the antibody work only on non-reducing CD63? What would be the purpose of running non-reducing exosomes on SDS-PAGE? Thanks!

I am researching secreted exosomes, generated from intra-luminal vesicles present in endolysosomes. Would the epitope of this antibody be available to this antibody in this sample?
Thank you for your question. CD63 Antibody (MX-49.129.5): sc-5275 was raised against full length CD63 of human origin. No epitope mapping has been performed for this antibody as of yet, so its exact binding site is not known.

Can this antibody be used for flow cytometry? And if possible, what is the optimal concentration for this technique?
Thank you for your question. Anti-CD63 Antibody (MX-49.129.5) is recommended for detection of CD63 of mouse, rat and human origin by flow cytometry. We recommen to use 1 μg per 1 x 106 cells.

Hello, I would like to use this antibody to detect CD63 in fetal bovine serum. Is there any data available showing the corss reactivity with bovine CD63? Thank you!

BLAST analysis shows an 85% sequence homology between the full length sequence of human CD63 and bovine CD63, which is lower than our minimum percentage for species reactivity recommendation. Unfortunately, we do not characterize the exact binding site of this monoclonal antibody and we have not tested it with bovine samples so it is uncertain that the antibody will react with the bovine target. Does this antibody (CD63 Antibody (MX-49.129.5) recognize a cytosolic or luminal/extracellular domain of CD63? i.e has it been epitope mapped?
