-20°CDoes not detect alpha 2 integrin subunit by Western Blot presumably due to conformational properties of the epitope involved. The epitope is dependent on the presence of the I-domain of alpha 2 integrin subunit and does not bind VLA-2 variant which lacks the I-domain. ||Applications:|Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, and Inhibition of VLA-2 mediated cell adhesion to collagen and laminin. Other applications not tested. ||Recommended Dilutions:|Immunoprecipitation: 2-5ug (lysate of 10e6 cell equivalent) |Flow Cytometry: 10ug/ml |Immunohistochemistry (Frozen tissue sections): 5ug/ml|Inhibition: 10ug/ml|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Hybridoma: |P3X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. ||Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. |For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. ||Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
