Description
Function | Synthesizes the second messengers cyclic ADP-ribose (cADPR) and nicotinate-adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NAADP), the former a second messenger for glucose-induced insulin secretion, the latter a Ca(2+) mobilizer. Also has cADPR hydrolase activity. |
