PPARGC1A (Peroxisome Proliferator-activated Receptor Gamma Coactivator 1 Alpha)

Ppargc1a is a transcriptional coactivator for steroid receptors and nuclear receptors. Ppargc1a greatly increases the transcriptional activity of PPARG and thyroid hormone receptor on the uncoupling protein promoter. Ppargc1a can regulate key mitochondrial genes that contribute to the program of adaptive thermogenesis.||Applications: |Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilution:|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
