Suitable for use in PCR™, cDNA synthesis, DNA sequencing and labeling procedures. Thymidine 5′-triphosphate (dTTP) is one of the four natural deoxynucleotides, along with deoxyadenosine 5’-triphosphate (dATP), deoxyguanosine 5’-triphosphate (dGTP) and deoxycytosine 5’-triphosphate (dCTP) used for the biosynthesis of deoxyribonucleic acids by DNA polymerases and reverse transcriptases. Deoxy-TTP may also be used as a substrate to study the specificity and kinetics of thymidine-triphosphatase(s) (EC 3.6.1.39) and other dTTP hydrolyzing activities.||Synonyms:|Thymidine 5'-(Tetrahydrogen Triphosphate) Sodium Salt; Thymidine-5’-Triphosphate, Sodium Salt; dTTP; 2'-Deoxythymidine 5'-triphosphate trisodium salt||CAS No: |18423-43-3|Free Acid: 365-08-2||Purity (HPLC):|≥99% ||Water (KF):|≤10%||Appearance:|White to off-white solid||Solubility (50mg/ml, water):|Clear, colorless and complete||UV Content (dry basis):|≥90%||Melting Point:|218-220°C||A250/A260:|0.65± 0.03||A280/A260:|0.73 ± 0.03||DNase:|None Detected||RNase:|None Detected||Storage Recommendations:|Long term (infrequent use; 1-2 times per month): -70°C|Daily/Weekly use: -20°C.||The performance of this product is guaranteed for twelve months from the date of purchase.
