Moleculaire Biologie Gereedschap
Moleculaire biologie is een verzameling methoden en technieken om biologische activiteit op moleculair niveau te bestuderen. Een belangrijk onderdeel van de moleculaire biologie is het begrijpen van de interactie tussen verschillende celsystemen. De belangrijkste basis van moleculaire biologie is het beschrijven van het proces waarbij DNA wordt getranscribeerd in RNA en RNA vervolgens wordt vertaald in eiwitten.
De belangrijkste technieken in de moleculaire biologie zijn klonen, PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction), nucleïnezuur elektroforese, DNA microarray analyse, in situ hybridisatie (HIS), sequencing (Sanger of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS)).
