-20°CThe product of this gene belongs to the integrin alpha chain family. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. This gene encodes the integrin alpha 5 chain. Alpha chain 5 undergoes post-translational cleavage in the extracellular domain to yield disulfide-linked light and heavy chains that join with beta 1 to form a fibronectin receptor. In addition to adhesion, integrins are known to participate in cell-surface mediated signalling.||Applications: |Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation and Flow Cytometry (Not Tested). Not suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.||Recommended Dilutions:|Immunoprecipitation: 2ug to immunoprecipitate 10e6 cells from lysate.|Flow Cytometry (Not Tested): 10ug/ml|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.| |Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. ||Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
