Suitable for use in the enumeration of Lactobacilli from food materials. Also used for the cultivation of Aerococcus viridans, Bifidobacterium coryneforme, Lactococcus plantarum, Leuconostoc sp., Pectinatus cerevisiiphilus, Pediococcus sp. and Sporolactobacillus inulinus. based on the formulations of deMan, Rogosa and Sharpe (MRS).||Appearance: |Yellow to tan, homgeneous free flowing powder||Solubility: |Yellow to dark amber, clear to slightly hazy.
