Recombinant Mouse GM-CSF Protein (E. coli) Structure
Synonym:

Granulocyte Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor; CSF-2; MGI-1GM

Quality Control & Documentation
Biological Activity

Granulocyte macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) was originally thought to be a growth factor capable of supporting granulocyte - macrophage progenitor cell colony formation in vitro. Granulocyte macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) is produced by many different cell types, including activated T cells, B cells, macrophages, mast cells, endothelial cells, and fibroblasts, in response to immune and inflammatory cytokines. In addition, granulocyte macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) stimulates the proliferation of a variety of tumor cell lines, including osteosarcoma, carcinoma, and adenocarcinoma cell lines.

Apparent molecular weight: ~14.3 kDa, reduced by SDS-PAGE
