Cynomolgus Monkey Serum
The robust cynomolgus macaque - also known as the crab-eating macaque (Macaca fascicularis), Java macaque, red-faced macaque or long-tailed macaque - is a catarhine monkey of the cercopithecidae family, recognisable by its crest and tail as long as its body. The male is distinguished by whiskers and the female by a beard. Native to South-East Asia - it lives in a wide variety of wetlands: tropical forests, mangroves, agricultural areas, etc.
The cynomolgus macaque is used as a laboratory animal, particularly for medical experiments. It has been widely used in medical experiments, particularly those related to neuroscience. It has also been identified as a possible carrier of Ebola and monkey pox viruses, and is known to carry herpes virus B (Herpesvirus simiae). The crab-eating macaque is one of the monkeys that have also been used in manned space flight experiments.
